The Kingdom of Bhutan is a South Asian country bordering south by India and north by China; locally known as Druk Yul which literally means Land of the Thunder Dragon. The subalpine Himalayan Mountains in the north rise from the country’s lush subtropical plains in the south. Gangkhar Puensum is Bhutan’s highest peak with altitude 7570m and it also virgin highest peak in the world. This Eastern Himalayan country is small country with area of 38,394 S KM and has 727,145 people.
Bhutan’s climate varies with its elevation, from subtropical in the in south to temperate in the highlands and polar type climate with year-round snow in the north. Due to its geographical variation, Bhutan is reach on bio-diversity and culture. Day 01 :-Fly to Paro then drive the capital city Thimphu.Alitidue:2320m (1 and 30 minute drive)

The magnificent and scenic one hour twenty min flight takes you a beautiful country Bhutan .If weather is clear ,this breathtaking flight able to offers us view of Mt.Everest along with other Himalayan ranges. Our airport representative will be there at airport with your name board .Once we receive you, drive towards our Hotel .One hour fifteen min drive and leaving paro 49 KM behind takes us Thimphu.Check in thehn we start our sightseeing around Thimphu.
Kuenselcholing view point: - Short drive from your hotel takes you at view point from where you can enjoy the Thimphu valley .You will encounter a greatest statue in the country and able to get bless then explore around .
Memorial Chorten: This specific chorten was built in 1974 as a memorial for the king Jigme Dorji Wangchuck;honour as the fathers of modern Bhutan.
Tashichho Dzong: Literally means Fortress of Glorious Religion which was constructed in 17 century by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel.This was used as the secretariat office, office of the king and the throne room.
After visited this three important monument, we will get back to city and rooming around.
After Breakfast, drive back to Paro where we are going to visit Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Farm house and National Museum.
Hiking to Tiger’s nest (Takshang Monastery): This is Bhutan’s most beautiful and famous cultural icon set 800m up at cliff. Monastery was caught by fire in April 1998 however now totally restored to its initial glory. People believed that a great Tantric guru Ringpoche (known as Padmasambhava at India) flew on the back of tigress to the site where the monastery now stands at around 8th century.
Note:-It takes five hours to and get back .The trail is mix with gentle and steep hike including stony trail .If you want skip by your feet ,you can hire horse which cost $25 per person.
Visit Farm House: We will visit farm house where we will have an experience of local farm house
